Husks which come from the cleansing plantain psyllium provide the extra fibre that so many people need. Psyllium Husk is a water retentive fibre which will give bulk to stools by absorbing water. This gives the bowel wall something to work on and lets it push matter through smoothly and quickly, which helps your body work more efficiently. Water retentive fibre also stimulates natural bacteria in the bowel. Traditionally most fibre in our diet comes from wheat bran but for sensitive cell walls, it can cause irritation and sometime make matters worse.

Psyllium Husks not only absorb many times their own weight in fluid but, more importantly, when water is added to psyllium husks, a soft gel is formed, so unwanted matter can move through the colon smoothly, with no straining or discomfort. This process, over a period of time can remove unwanted, impacted waste from the walls of the colon. As it is not abrasive, psyllium is ideal for sensitive cell walls. Our Psyllium is 98% pure, the highest grade available.
